Fantastic news!! I've been waiting for this for years. Thank you to everyone involved with getting this together. It's great that all of Jason's major releases will be accessible to fans new and old.
Since this is all in house within the Secretly group: Is there any way for S&D subs to get the Secretly Society version of the record without joining another subscription?
This is really special. I saw the band as a college freshman in the spring of 1998, maybe the day after this came out (with Oneida). Maybe 20 of us in the crowd at our tiny Vermont school. During the set, Jason offered a free vinyl copy of Impala to the first person who could name the real first name of Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath. None of us knew, so he made it easier and asked Ozzy’s real first name. Somehow I knew it was John, and I won the record. After the set, I drove 30 min round trip to the nearest ATM so I could buy the S/T, Impala, and Hecla CDs. A truly memorable night.

I have the exact same question re: the Secretly Society version! Hopefully we'll know soon!
I guess it's safe to say the lack of response to this question means they aren't able to offer us the SS version?
I guess not! Sigh! I'm really disappointed that we can't this time without joining another subscription.

Great story 🖤
Still super jealous you got that OG copy! I didn't know the story behind it tho, that is great.
"Paid subscribers will each receive discounted access to previously unreleased or special release vinyl"
Like others have said I'm disappointed that the color vinyl doesn't fall into this category. Come on.
same 😟
Jason and his Magnolia band spent one night at our home after a concert in Louisville, Ky.
He was a lovely man, as were his mates.
