A short roundup for you today of some things we think you might be into…
Today we have an unearthed Ghost Tropic demo from one of the Lamb & Flag tapes Jason left at Secretly, a 45 minute 1998 house concert video from the fantastic Songs: Ohia Video Archive, more recognition for Magnolia in its 20th year and another brilliant new artist name-checking Jason in their influences.
Lots to dig into then!

Asheville, NC band Wednesday have been chosen as WXPN’s Artist To Watch for July - a band we’re all fans of we were really happy to find Jason’s music on their influences playlist, with Songs: Ohia’s Blue Chicago Moon making an appearance alongside some other great songs.

We recently began sharing demos from Jam003 of The Lamb & Flag tapes.
Starting with ‘An Absent Star’ - a beautiful and sparse recording, the track would later become the lengthy ambient Ghost Tropic closer ‘Incantation’
