Hope you’re all doing alright!

We’re really pleased to have some music to share with you today. Taken from a SC archive folder titled ‘First Drafts - Josephine’, these are mostly solo acoustic versions of the songs that would end up on the album.

Today we have a beautiful stripped back version of ‘Song For Willie’.

We’ll be sharing more demo’s from ‘Josephine’ via S&D over the coming weeks 🖤

The Archive Tapes

Jason left over 300 tapes in the Molina archive at Secretly and we've long been trying to figure out the best way to share some of this collected work.

This music was recorded throughout Jason's life and career and we hope will be something you all enjoying experiencing.

We will be sharing music from these archives periodically through Static & Distance.

This doesn't mean the end of JM releases on DSP's or through vinyl but this is a space where we can share these raw, intimate recordings with Jason's fans.
